Affiliate Disclosure

The short version

Some links on this site go to Amazon. If you buy something after clicking one, Amazon pays us a small percentage. You pay the same price either way.

The programme

We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.

It does not change what we recommend

We do not get paid to say a product is good. If a kit is not worth buying, we say so. If we have not checked a product, we do not list it. That is why most of our Amazon links open a search rather than name a single item: we would rather send you to the shelf than point at a box we have not opened.

Why we do not print prices

Amazon prices change constantly. Stating one here would be out of date within a day, so we use price bands instead. Check the current price on Amazon before you buy.
